Consid ranked third most attractive employer among women
The tech company Consid has secured a strong third place when Karriärföretagen presents this year’s list of Sweden’s most attractive employers according to women. The ranking is based on a survey among female students and young professionals within fields such as IT and technology – a target group that plays a crucial role in securing the future talent supply.
Each year, Karriärföretagen conducts a survey within its network of students and young professionals in which female members are asked which employers they perceive as the most attractive. The results are presented in connection with International Women’s Day and highlight organisations considered to offer strong career opportunities and attractive working environments for women.
In this year’s ranking, Consid places third, further strengthening its position as one of Sweden’s most attractive employers for women within tech and related fields.
– Being voted third by women at the beginning of their careers is a very important recognition for us. It shows that our long-term work with culture, development opportunities and inclusion is both visible and appreciated, says Beatrice Carpvik, Head of Branding, Marketing & Communication at Consid.
For many years, Consid has actively worked to create an inclusive working environment and to attract more women to the tech industry, not least through the initiative Q by Consid. The company also drives initiatives in skills development and leadership aimed at creating opportunities for more women to grow and build careers in technology and digitalisation.
– The tech industry needs more perspectives and more role models. For us, it’s not only about attracting more women to the industry, but also about creating an environment where they want to stay, develop and take on leading roles. This ranking is something we are very proud of, and at the same time a motivation to continue driving change, says Beatrice Carpvik.
Karriärföretagen’s survey is based on responses from thousands of female students and young professionals in Sweden who were asked to name the three employers they perceive as most attractive among the organisations recognised as Karriärföretag.
About the survey
Karriärföretagen conducted the survey among female members of its student and young professionals network. Participants study or work in areas including IT, technology, economics, law and social sciences. The aim is to highlight employers considered particularly attractive for women at the beginning of their careers.
