Nominees and winners to Digital Influencer of the Year, eQualizer of the Year, Digital Rising Star of the Year, Digital Honorary Award of the Year, and the War Child Award by Consid.

For several years, we have been awarding digital role models through awards presented at our annual event in Stockholm City Hall - the Consid Gala. It is now evident who has been nominated for the 2023 awards. Discover the justifications and read more about the nominees.

Who are the nominees for the Consid Gala 2023?

It is now decided who has been nominated for the awards of Digital Influencer of the Year, eQualizer of the Year, Digital Rising Star of the Year, Digital Honorary Prize of the Year, and the War Child Award by Consid. The winner in each category will be announced during the Consid Gala at Stockholm City Hall on November 18, 2023.

Digital Influencer of the Year

The award for Digital Influencer of the Year is presented to an individual who, throughout the year, has demonstrated significant entrepreneurship, commitment, and has made an exemplary impact within the digital sphere using digital means. Digital Influencer of the Year 2023 is…

Josef Fares – Digital Influencer of the Year 2023

He went from developing his first computer game “Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons” together with Starbreeze in 2013 to founding his own game studio Hazelight in 2014, whose first game “A Way Out” was released in 2018 and sold a million copies in its first three weeks on the air. Josef Fares is undoubtedly a respected name in the gaming industry and in 2021 he received the Game of the Year award for his game “It Takes Two” at The Game Awards, the world’s largest gaming gala held in Los Angeles. With his endless successes in the gaming world, he is an important role model for future developers and is thus a true and burgeoning digital influencer.

Petter Stordalen

Entrepreneur, hotel tycoon and philanthropist – a beloved child has many names. By building up the hotel empire formerly known as Nordic Choice Hotels, now Strawberry Group, Petter Stordalen has made himself known as one of Norway’s most successful businessmen. He also has a passionate commitment when it comes to environmental and sustainability issues and has launched several initiatives to make the hotel and travel industry more environmentally friendly, as well as donating significant sums to charitable community-related initiatives. With his huge amount of followers on digital platforms where he shares his life’s journey on a daily basis, Petter is one of the foremost inspirers and digital influencers of our time.

Sara Wimmercrantz

As co-founder of the e-commerce company and also one of the Nordics’ largest digital shoe retailers, Footway, and the venture capital BackingMinds as well as a dragon in SVT’s Dragon’s Nest, Sara Wimmercrantz in recent years has become an increasingly shining star in both the entrepreneurial and digitization sphere. With an idea of doing business on the prejudices of other investors and a strong focus on businesses in technology, healthcare and e-commerce, Sara is a digital influencer who opens exciting new doors, creates forward-looking opportunities and drives positive change.

Therese Naess

In addition to being a lawyer and police chief, Thérèse is also responsible for building, developing and managing the National Cyber Security Center, which includes seven agencies and whose mission is to strengthen Sweden’s collective ability to prevent, detect and manage cyber threats. With her solid experience in combating serious societal threats, Thérèse and her mission constitute an enormously important pillar when it comes to safety and security in a fast-moving and currently unstable global situation.

 

eQualizer of the Year

The eQualizer of the Year award is given to an individual who, in an exemplary manner, has advanced the gender equality issue within the IT industry during the past year, thereby playing a significant role in driving the industry in the right direction in the future. eQualizer of the Year 2023 is…

Lorren. Nominerad till Årets eQualizer av Consid.

Loreen – eQualizer of the Year 2023

The Swedish-Moroccan singer and songwriter Loreen has, among other things, made herself known by winning the Eurovision Song Contest not only once, but twice. She is a great advocate for human rights, LGBTQ rights and equality, which she is not slow to point out in the contexts in which she moves. With her international reputation and wide following, she is a role model for many, not least women, and constitutes an important opinion maker and inspirer on a wide-ranging level.

Susanna Moen & Sara Norrbom, Womensync  

Susanna Moen and Sara Norrbom are the founders of Womensync, whose purpose is to increase awareness of the female body and how to live a life in sync with your biology. By sharing research-based information, knowledge and inspiration in combination with personal experiences connected to women’s health, Susanna and Sara have succeeded in building an impressive community of women who, through their Instagram and website, benefit and enjoy its content and community on a daily basis.

Charlotte Petri Gornitzka, nominerad till Årets eQualizer av Consid.

Charlotte Petri Gornitzka

With a solid track record within organizations such as UNICEF, OECD, Sida, Save the Children and the Red Cross, at the end of 2021 Charlotte Petri Gornitzka took on the role of director general of the Swedish Agency for Community Protection and Preparedness. With an increased terror threat level and deteriorating security situation in Sweden, combined with further increasing uncertainties in our surrounding world, Charlotte finds herself in the center of events and assumes a central and important role for our society, while at the same time she is a great inspiration for women on their way into or among up in their professional life.

Robert Fux. Nominerad till Årets eQualizer av Consid.

Robert Fux  

Robert Fux is an actor and drag artist and screenwriter. He belongs to the Stockholm City Theater’s permanent ensemble and is currently a presenter in SVT’s prestigious drag queen competition Drag Race Sweden. Robert has for many years been one of the main influencers within HBTQIA+ and uses his digital channels to inform, educate and inspire, which makes him an important role model for many.

 

 

Digital Rising Star of the Year

The Digital Rising Star of the Year award is presented to an individual or initiative that has emerged as a rising star within the digital realm during the year. They have, in one way or another, shown that they are on a promising path to significantly contribute to digital development in the future. Digital Rising Star of the Year is…

Nastaran Baleng-Soultani

Nastaran Baleng-Soultani is the co-founder and director of Space Academy, the organization whose purpose is to educate and arouse interest in coding and game development to create future career opportunities in tech, regardless of the background of young people. She is also one of the founders of the investment company RadCap, which was launched in May this year with a desire to see more women as owners. In its constant endeavor to move digital development forward, Nastaran is a clear rising star in the digital sky.

Linnéa Kornehed Falck, Einride  

Linnéa Kornehed Falck is the co-founder of the truck lifter Einride, which was the first with autonomous electric trucks in commercial traffic in the USA. Her attraction to the startup world and dreams at an early age to become an entrepreneur along with the founding of Einride have led, among other things, to a placement on the Forbes “30 under 30” list. With her background in computer and systems science and an interest in code that has accompanied her since childhood, she is a tangible role model for women entering the tech industry and thus a part in supporting the continued supply of skills to the industry.

Stina Ehrensvärd, Yubico

As co-founder of the Swedish-American IT security key company Yubico, with nine out of ten of the world’s largest technology companies on their client list, it is not surprising that Stina Ehrensvärd is on the list of the most powerful women in business in 2023 and has been named International Leader of the Year. With the call to make the internet safer as a basis, the company has made an impressive development journey in recent years, with Stina playing a decisive role in the success.

Ofelia Vistedt

Ofelia Vistedt is the marketing consultant with clients such as CAIA Cosmetics in her stable, who shares her everyday life as a fresh entrepreneur on her TikTok channel. She runs the podcast Top of Mind in which she focuses on topics such as marketing, branding and how to succeed on TikTok as both a business and a creator.

 

Digital Honorary Award of the Year and War Child Award by Consid

The winner of the year’s Digital Honorary Award 2023 was Frida Boisen and the winner of the War Child Award by Consid 2023 was Vanna Rosenberg.

The Consid Gala
