Standardized testing competence
ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) is an internationally recognized certification in software testing. The Foundation level provides a fundamental understanding of test processes, test design, quality assurance, and how testing can be integrated into modern development methodologies.
By working according to established testing principles, organizations can improve the quality of their systems, identify defects earlier in the development process, and create more robust digital products.
Three days of testing methodology and practical understanding
The training was conducted over three full days at Consid’s office in Jönköping. The course was led by Consid’s accredited ISTQB trainers, who have extensive experience in test education and a close collaboration with the Swedish Software Testing Board (SSTB).
During the course, participants were introduced to key concepts in software testing, the different stages of the testing process, as well as methods for test design and quality assurance. The training combined theory with discussions and practical examples to give participants a clear understanding of how testing can be applied in development work.
In connection with the training, Consid also coordinated with SSTB to provide participants with exam vouchers, enabling them to book their certification exam after completing the course.
Strengthened testing competence within the team
The training helped strengthen the participants’ knowledge of structured testing and provided the team with a shared foundation for their quality assurance efforts.
Through the course, participants gained both a theoretical understanding of testing principles and practical tools for integrating testing into the development process.
