Consid and Save the Children in partnership for digital safety

Since 2025, Consid and Save the Children have entered into a strategic partnership with the aim of bringing together technology, communication and social engagement. By combining Consid’s expertise in digital development and brand building with Save the Children’s long-standing experience of working for children’s rights, we create the conditions for new, innovative solutions in both the physical and digital worlds.

Our partnership

A safer digital everyday life for children

As society becomes increasingly digitalised, questions around children’s safety online are becoming ever more important. Save the Children was early in recognising this and has, for many years, actively worked to strengthen children’s rights in both physical and digital environments. Through a range of initiatives, they provide support, knowledge and tools that help children navigate digital spaces safely.

For children in primary school, Save the Children has developed the “Safe Online!” programme, designed to encourage dialogue about life online, as well as the Lilla RB platform, which supports, empowers and engages children aged 9–12 through knowledge, positivity and playfulness. Save the Children also offers support for adults who want to better understand and discuss children’s digital lives. This includes everything from screen time to more complex issues such as online hate, threats and abuse – areas where knowledge and open dialogue are essential.

Save the Children’s digital initiatives, particularly within gaming and online platforms, align closely with Consid’s own innovation capabilities and commitment to social sustainability. This work reflects our ambition to use technology to create a better and more inclusive society.

A partnership for social sustainability

Consid supports Save the Children’s work to help create a safer upbringing for more children, both online and offline. As one of the Nordic region’s leading tech consultancies, we see it as our responsibility to contribute to a safe and secure digital everyday life. By combining our technical expertise with Save the Children’s extensive experience in children’s rights and safeguarding, we can create solutions that make a real difference.

During Easter 2025, in collaboration with Save the Children, we organised a digital Easter egg hunt across all cities where Consid has offices. The competition was open to the public and challenged participants to find digital eggs. Each time a QR code was scanned, a donation was automatically made to Save the Children.

Consid employees were also given the opportunity to donate their Christmas gift in 2025 to Save the Children, which generated more than SEK 250,000 even before December had begun. The Akelius Foundation also matched every donation made to Consid’s fundraising campaign for Save the Children during December 2025.

Save the Children’s work for children’s digital safety

All children have the right to feel safe online, on social media and in the gaming world. Yet reality does not always reflect this. Here you will find support and guidance on how to talk to your children about their digital lives.
