The Swedish Higher Education Authority plays a central role in safeguarding the quality of higher education in Sweden and contributing to the country’s development as a knowledge society. The authority’s work is divided into three main areas: reviewing the quality of higher education and higher education institutions’ quality assurance systems, monitoring and analysing developments and trends within the higher education sector, and exercising legal supervision over universities and higher education institutions.

In the procurement process, UKÄ sought a strategic and innovative partner that, through close collaboration, could contribute to the proactive management, support and further development of the authority’s digital communication. Consid was awarded the contract, which includes UKÄ’s existing websites built on Sitevision Cloud, associated technical solutions, as well as analytics and accessibility services. The assignment also includes acting as a strategic partner for advice, support and guidance, as well as the development of concepts and the potential creation of new digital services.

– This is an assignment we are extremely proud of. UKÄ has an important societal mission, and we look forward to contributing both technical expertise and strategic support to further develop their digital communication in a sustainable and accessible way, saysCajsa Ljungberg, Bid Manager at Consid.

The contract runs for a period of two years, with the option to extend for a further one plus one years.

– UKÄ is an authority with high standards for quality, accessibility and long-term sustainability. Being entrusted to act as a strategic partner on their digital journey is a strong endorsement of our experience within the public sector and our ability to create real value through digitalisation, saysJosefin Lindohf, Key Account Manager at Consid.

Through this collaboration, Consid further strengthens its position as a leading digital partner for public authorities and organisations with vital societal missions.
