Record number of finalist spots for Consid in the 2026 Publishing Prize

A record number of entries featuring Consid as sender and creative partner have been nominated for the 2026 Publishing Prize. Six Consid entries are among the finalists, including the company’s own brand film and the Digitala Influencer podcast, alongside client projects created for the Municipality of Halmstad and the Municipality of Vellinge.

The Publishing Prize is an annual, jury-assessed competition that has recognised outstanding editorial and marketing communication since 1990. This year, Consid is behind six of the nominated entries – both through its own brand communication and through creative work for clients.

– Six nominations! Of course, we’re incredibly proud. What makes it even more exciting is the breadth of the work – these are very different types of communication, created both for our own brand and together with our clients. To me, it’s a wonderful recognition of the creativity, craftsmanship and commitment within our teams, says Beatrice Carpvik, Head of Branding, Marketing & Communication at Consid.

Nominated film puts user experience at the heart of technology

In the Film category, Consid is nominated for a film built around the message: “New technology is only as good as its user experience.”

The film highlights an idea that lies at the heart of Consid’s offering: technological development does not create value simply by being new or advanced – it is only when technology works for people that it makes a real difference. The film was produced in-house by Consid’s marketing and brand team.

– We wanted to make a film that doesn’t start with the technology, but with the human being. New technology can be as impressive as you like on paper, but if the experience doesn’t work, it has failed in its most important task. We are incredibly proud of this production. Seeing the film nominated for the Publishing Prize makes me both extremely proud and very happy, says Beatrice Carpvik.

Digitala Influencer podcast nominated as podcasts make their Publishing Prize debut

Consid’s Digitala Influencer podcast, hosted by CEO Peter Hellgren, has also been nominated in the Podcast category.

In Digitala Influencer, Hellgren meets people who are driving digitalisation, innovation and societal development in different ways. Over the years, the podcast – which is approaching its 400th episode – has become a platform for conversations with some of Sweden’s most influential figures in business, technology and society.

The nomination is particularly significant as 2026 marks the first year that podcasts have been introduced as a competition area in the Publishing Prize.

– Digitala Influencer is built on my curiosity about the people behind change. We want to move beyond the quick answers and understand the motivations, decisions and experiences shaping our digital world. To see the podcast recognised and nominated in the very first year that podcasts are part of the Publishing Prize is therefore an incredible honour, says Peter Hellgren, CEO of Consid and host of Digitala Influencer.

Four client projects among the finalists

In addition to Consid’s own productions, four client projects are among this year’s nominated entries.

Se hela människan, created by Consid Communication on behalf of the Municipality of Halmstad’s Home Care Administration, is one of the nominated projects. Two projects created by Consid Communication for the Municipality of Vellinge have also reached the finals: Vellinge Icons and Greater Falsterbo.

For Douglas Lindevall, CEO of Consid Communication, the four nominations are a recognition both of the teams’ creative excellence and of the value of close collaboration between agency and client.

– Four nominations for three clients is something we are enormously proud of. But the best thing about this kind of recognition is that it is never just about us. The best ideas emerge when we get to work closely with courageous clients who want to reach people, create an emotional connection and dare to do something that stands out. These nominations are a testament to exactly those kinds of collaborations, and something we fully share with the municipalities of Halmstad and Vellinge, says Douglas Lindevall, CEO of Consid Communication.

He continues:

– The fact that four such different projects have been recognised also says something about the creative breadth we want to represent. Our job is not to force clients into a particular expression or format, but to find the idea and the communication that will make the greatest difference to their specific audience. When that work is also recognised by a jury, it is of course incredibly rewarding.

Six chances when the Publishing Prize is decided

The Publishing Prize covers areas including film, podcasts, websites, advertising, digital publications and print. Entries are assessed by a jury of professional communicators and creatives.

The recipients of Gold, Silver and Grand Prix awards will be announced at the Publishing Gala at Berns in Stockholm on 3 November 2026.

– For now, we’re simply going to enjoy having six entries in the finals. These are six projects we are extremely proud of, and a lot of people have poured both heart and skill into creating them. Of course, it would be fantastic to have an even bigger reason to celebrate with a win in November, concludes Beatrice Carpvik.
