Consid’s Sustainability Efforts Recognized Internationally

In recent years, the IT company Consid has significantly ramped up its sustainability efforts. In 2023, they became one of the few companies in Sweden accepted into the prestigious Science Based Targets Initiative. This strong focus on sustainability has now been recognized by the Scandinavian Business Awards 2024.

Consid continues to receive accolades. Earlier this year, it was announced that the company, after receiving ten consecutive Di-Gasell awards, was honored with a Mästargasell by Dagens Industri. Last week, it was also announced that the IT company was awarded Most Pioneering Sustainable IT Transformation Consultancy 2024.

Consid’s Chief Sustainability Officer, Nathalie Besèr, received the news.

– It’s fantastic that we are receiving this recognition and that our hard work is paying off. The climate issue is the most critical sustainability challenge, and we have invested heavily in it over the past few years. This involves everything from reviewing our consumption at our 40 offices, what we consume, travel policies – we have cut back in every way possible, says Nathalie Besèr.

The award is presented by the Scandinavian Business Awards and has been decided by a distinguished jury of expert researchers and business leaders, with the jury’s own research being a central part of the assessment.

– This is proof that our commitment and investments are right. We place great value on being a sustainable company, both from a macro and micro perspective, says Peter Hellgren, founder and CEO of Consid.

The vision when Consid was founded in 2000 was to create a company that Peter Hellgren and Henrik Sandell always wanted to work for and that customers love to work with. In that spirit, social responsibility has always been a central part of Consid’s history.

– Sustainability is a broad concept. Internally, we place great value on our employees’ mental and physical health – that is sustainability. At the same time, we actively work with our clients to develop sustainable solutions for them. We make adjustments in how we conduct daily operations for increased sustainability and much more. It truly permeates our entire operation, says Nathalie Besèr.
