Consid is named Career Company 2024

Consid has been designated as the Career Company of 2024. This marks the ninth consecutive year that the company has received this distinction, a feat achieved by only four other companies in the past. The award, along with the Swedish quality seal, is bestowed upon employers demonstrating the highest possible quality in their work for employees.

– The corporate culture we have collectively fostered at Consid is what allows us to continue growing and evolving as a company year after year, something I am extremely proud of. Very few other companies have managed to become Career Companies as many times as we have, which is evidence that what we do at Consid works, says Peter Hellgren, CEO of Consid.

Since 2011, Career Companies (Karriärföretag) have recognized companies, organizations, and authorities that offer the best career opportunities for students and newly graduated talents. Approximately 1,000 entities annually meet the basic criteria regarding the number of employees, turnover, ongoing recruitment efforts, and standing out as a good employer. These entities are then scrutinized by an expert panel, which assesses career pages on the web, presence on social media, and attractiveness as an employer. In the final selection stage, a jury names the top 100 companies that ultimately become the Career Companies of the Year.

Consid has been named the Career Company of 2024, marking the ninth consecutive year that the company has received this accolade. Only four other companies have previously achieved the status of Career Company for as many consecutive years.

I believe that, combined with the corporate culture we have created that our employees can take pride in, is the key to our success in becoming the Career Company for the ninth time, says Anita Beslic, HR Manager at Consid.

When the figures for the third quarter of 2023 are disclosed, Consid demonstrates a significantly increased turnover. During the third quarter, Consid generated 524 million SEK, compared to last year’s 450 million SEK, representing an increase of nearly 17 percent. Over the first nine months of this year, the company generated 1,891 million SEK, compared to 1,492 million SEK for the first three quarters of 2022, indicating a growth of 26.7 percent.

Since the beginning of the year, Consid has also recruited over 400 new employees and now exceeds 1,900 employees. The company was also named Sweden’s best employer for the third consecutive year.

– Consid has proven to be a reliable player in the midst of economic uncertainty. Despite current challenges such as a recession and high inflation, our strategy has proven fruitful. While many other companies are cutting costs and letting employees go in times of crisis, we are investing our way out of the recession, says Peter Hellgren.
