Consid accelerates growth – increases by 9.3 percent

Consid continues to gain ground in a consulting market that remains selective. In the second quarter of 2026, revenue increased by 9.3 per cent compared with the corresponding period last year. At the same time, the operating margin and utilisation rate improved, while the number of consultants continued to grow. For the first six months of the year, revenue amounted to SEK 1,626 million, corresponding to growth of 7.4 per cent. On a rolling twelve-month basis, Consid now has revenue of SEK 3,076 million.

Following a strong start to the year, Consid accelerated its growth further in the second quarter. Revenue increased by 9.3 per cent compared with the same period in 2025, while several of the company’s key operational metrics also continued to develop positively.

The operating margin strengthened, the utilisation rate improved and the number of consultants continued to increase. Taken together, these developments demonstrate Consid’s ability to combine expansion with an increasingly strong underlying business.

– This is a strong quarter for Consid. We are growing faster, improving utilisation and strengthening our operating margin at the same time. For me, that combination is what matters most. We are demonstrating that we can continue to gain market share and expand without compromising on profitability or quality, says Peter Hellgren, CEO and co-founder of Consid.

Growth accelerates in the second quarter

Consid entered 2026 with revenue growth of 5.6 per cent in the first quarter. In the second quarter, the growth rate increased to 9.3 per cent.

For the first half of 2026, revenue amounted to SEK 1,626 million, an increase of 7.4 per cent compared with the corresponding period last year. On a rolling twelve-month basis, revenue reached SEK 3,076 million, firmly establishing Consid above the SEK 3 billion mark that it surpassed for the first time at the beginning of the year.

– We could already see in the first quarter that we had strong momentum. The fact that growth is now accelerating while both our margin and utilisation rate are developing positively is a clear sign of strength. We are entering the second half of the year from a stronger position than we were in at the start of the year, says Peter Hellgren.

This development is taking place in a consulting market that continues to be characterised by selective investment decisions and significant differences between industries and areas of expertise. At the same time, an increasingly clear picture is emerging of the areas driving the next wave of digital investment. AI, data, cyber security, cloud services, defence and security, and the digitalisation of business-critical processes are high on the agenda for many organisations.

For Consid, these developments are creating increased opportunities in several areas where the company has already built specialist expertise and strong customer relationships.

– The market is not back to a point where everything grows by itself, and I think that makes our figures even stronger. Customers are prioritising more rigorously and placing greater demands on both expertise and business value. In that environment, Consid is growing by 9.3 per cent. That says a great deal about our competitiveness and the trust we have built with our customers, says Peter Hellgren.

Growth in both consultants and utilisation

Alongside its revenue growth, Consid continues to increase the number of consultants. The fact that the consultant base is growing while the utilisation rate is also improving is an important part of the quarter’s development and creates additional capacity for continued expansion.

At the same time, the company continues to prioritise areas where demand is expected to remain structurally strong. During the year, Consid has strengthened its position in areas including AI, cyber security, banking, financial services and insurance, as well as through its new industry initiatives in defence and security and industry.

The ambition is to combine the company’s broad digital offering with deeper industry expertise, enabling Consid to play a greater role in its customers’ most strategic transformation initiatives.

– AI is fundamentally changing both our customers’ businesses and our own industry. We are in the midst of one of the most significant technological shifts in a very long time, and it is creating a new type of demand. For Consid, it is not simply about providing technical expertise, but about helping customers translate technology into higher productivity, better business outcomes and new services. We see enormous long-term potential in this area, says Peter Hellgren.

Stronger position heading into the second half of the year

With growth of 7.4 per cent in the first half of the year, growth of 9.3 per cent in the second quarter and rolling twelve-month revenue of SEK 3,076 million, Consid enters the second half of the year with continued ambitions for expansion.

The company continues to invest in specialist expertise, strategic industries and its geographical presence, while maintaining a focus on high utilisation, profitable growth and long-term customer relationships.

– We have no intention of slowing down. Quite the opposite. We have built Consid to be able to continue growing even when the market is more demanding. Now that we are seeing growth accelerate while our operational metrics are strengthening, it gives us the confidence to continue investing and advancing our position throughout the rest of the year, concludes Peter Hellgren.
