Highlights from 2023 

In April 2023, Peter Hellgren participated in a parliamentary seminar on LAS, which came into force in October 2022. The law means that client companies that have engaged consultants for a period of 24 months within a 36-month period are required to either offer employment or pay compensation equivalent to two months’ salary.

In the discussion, Peter Hellgren participated together with Veli-Pekka Säikkälä, Head of Agreements at IF Metall, Stefan Koskinen, Head of Employer Policy at Almega, Johanna Haraldsson (S), Member of Parliament, and Oliver Rosengren (M), Member of Parliament and host of the seminar.

“Hello Finland, we are here now,” read the headline of a press release published on August 29, 2023. The establishment in Finland as the sixth country in Consid’s operations had a promising start and was highlighted, among others, in the industry magazine Tivi.

Shortly thereafter, Reima Soikkeli was joined at the newly opened office in Helsinki by Veera Outi (HR) and Salla Lummi (Sales). The strategy of growing slowly but steadily proved successful as we established ourselves in the Finnish IT market through several strategic DPS agreements.

Each year, Karriärföretagen selects winners in several categories. During the gala evening where the awards were presented, we had the honor of receiving first place in the category Employer Branding Company of the Year.

This prestigious award is proof of Consid’s long-term and well-established work in employer branding. It also marks the ninth consecutive year we have been named a Career Company – a great honor.

In October 2023, Consid received its tenth Di Gazelle award. This achievement has previously only been reached by two other companies. The Di Gazelle award recognizes Sweden’s most successful and fastest-growing companies, based on performance over the last four annual reports.

We are proud to have been named Sweden’s Best Employer for the third consecutive year. The award is a clear testament to employee satisfaction and shows that our efforts to create a positive workplace culture are delivering results.

In November 2023, we set a new sales record and recorded our strongest sales month to date. Despite a challenging market across the entire IT industry, Consid’s sales increased by 35 percent compared to the previous month.

By continuing to invest even in more challenging market conditions, we have exceeded our own expectations.

Through our platform Q by Consid, we continue to work towards a more equal tech industry. In 2023, around 800 people participated in Q Meets across Sweden, and on average, two media articles per month were published about the initiative.

During the year, Q by Consid was also launched in Denmark.

In November, our annual Consid gala was held at Stockholm City Hall. The evening celebrated the year’s successes and recognized important contributions both internally and externally.

The gala was hosted by Björn Gustavsson and featured a three-course dinner, live band, entertainment, and an award ceremony.

Considition, our annual hackathon, was held during the year together with Coca-Cola as a partner. Participants were tasked with solving a sustainability challenge using AI and machine learning.

The challenge was to develop an algorithm that optimizes the placement of refill stations in different urban environments.

Since its inception, the goal of Considition has been to contribute to a more sustainable society through AI. This year’s winners were Mathias Berg and the Sundsvall team Toilet Inc.

Sustainability permeates everything we do at Consid – from daily operations to our long-term goals for a more sustainable future.

During 2023, we continued our work in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and international principles for human rights, working conditions, the environment, and anti-corruption.

A key milestone during the year was that our climate targets were approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), placing Consid among the companies actively working to reduce climate impact in line with scientific targets.
