A tech consultancy in the historic Sundin House

In Västerås, Consid is located in the historic Sundin House on Stora Gatan – a listed heritage building dating back to the mid-19th century. The distinctive yellow façade, white-rendered details and the well-known lantern on the roof make the building one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks.

Inside, history and a modern tech environment come together in a well-balanced setting. The premises feature one of Västerås’ oldest wooden staircases, exposed timber beams, generous ceiling heights and carefully designed spaces that foster both focus and creativity. Consid established its presence in Västerås in 2018 and moved into the Sundin House in February 2020. The offices were renovated and adapted to create a modern digital workplace and meeting environment, with great respect for the building’s historical character.

The local market

In Västerås, we work with both private and public-sector organisations across the Mälardalen region. The office has strong expertise in system development, project management, test management, UX, service design and digital transformation. At the same time, we are investing in building a strong SAP delivery capability, with the ambition of becoming a long-term partner to industrial clients in the region. We are also developing our offering within engineering, supporting organisations with complex technical environments and specialised needs.
