At the Karlskrona office
From vicarage to tech office
In Karlskrona, Consid is based in a building with a truly distinctive history. The original house was destroyed in the great city fire of 1790. As early as the following year, in 1791, the building was reconstructed by dismantling an identical house in Figeholm and transporting it by sea to Karlskrona. The result is the building that today houses our office.
Over the years, the property has served several purposes: a church hall and school for the German congregation, and later a private residence for the city’s vicar. Today, the building is home to an office of approximately 390 square metres, where historic surroundings meet a modern working environment. One particularly distinctive feature is the unique wine cellar, visible directly from the lounge through a glass floor.
The local market
Since establishing our presence in 2019, the Karlskrona office has built a strong position with senior expertise in project management, change management and system development, with particular strength within telecommunications. We work with an even split between private and public sector clients.
