Creativity and technology in the former Milk Processing Building

In Borås, Consid is based in the former Milk Processing Plant – a distinctive building from 1935 with a strong industrial heritage. Designed by architect K. A. Boman, the property originally housed dairy operations, including cheese and egg storage, cold rooms, machine halls and offices. When Arla ceased its operations in 1987, the building entered a new chapter and underwent extensive renovations to accommodate entirely different uses.

Since 2019, Consid has occupied the premises, which previously housed the advertising agency Mecka. Today, little remains of the former dairy. Instead, the office features bright, spacious interiors, large open-plan work areas and an upper floor with a suspended mezzanine. The modern yet warm atmosphere has made the office a natural meeting place for the Borås business community, not least through our recurring inspirational breakfast events.
