Region C3 Wins Region of the Year at Consid Awards 2024
Last week, outstanding achievements in digitalization across Northern Europe were celebrated at the Consid Awards 2024. Region C3 claimed the title of Region of the Year, marking the fourth time in five years that the region has won the award. This accolade underscores their successful development and strong values of entrepreneurship and commitment.
On November 23, this year’s Consid Awards took place. The evening recognized both internal and external contributors who made an exceptional impact on the digital landscape in 2024. Region C3 emerged as Region of the Year for the fourth time. The region includes the cities of Karlskrona, Karlshamn, and Kristianstad.
– It feels almost unreal! The competition is tough, which of course makes it even more exciting to win. Out of the five years we’ve existed, we’ve won four of them — that’s a great testament to the fact that we’re doing something right, says Therese Ericson, Regional Manager for C3.
The finalists included the regions West, South, C3, and Northern Norrland. This year’s competition for the top spot was fiercer than ever, with just an 18-point difference between first and second place. Consid CEO Peter Hellgren announced the winner during the evening with an inspiring speech:
“You have demonstrated remarkable growth, impressive development, strong visibility, and have fully embodied our core values — entrepreneurship, commitment, and impact. You set an example of what these values truly mean, and your efforts have made a significant mark on our success and culture. The Region of the Year award goes to… C3!”
The Region of the Year award is determined based on the results of the Consid Booster, which evaluates development, growth, key performance indicators, and various value-creating initiatives over the past year. The nominees are selected by Consid’s management based on the competition’s outlined criteria.
–Besides chocolate balls, which are our secret weapon, I believe our success lies in the people and the culture we’ve built. We see and take care of each other. It’s a magical team with incredible dedication, added Therese Ericson.
Now, Therese and Region C3 look ahead to 2025.
– I’m looking forward to continuing to see people thrive and grow, helping our customers create new things and achieve growth, building new collaborations across boundaries, and of course, eating more chocolate balls.
