Optimizely and Consid seek to strengthen Sweden’s leadership

As the world’s economic landscapes are redrawn and technological development accelerates, Optimizely and Consid are launching a new leadership forum: VisionHUB. The initiative aims to offer Swedish decision-makers fresh perspectives on how geopolitics, digitalisation and shifting economies influence the business landscape of the future.

On 4 February 2026, more than 300 leaders from the private and public sectors will gather at Operaterrassen in Stockholm. Over the course of an afternoon, participants will explore how companies can navigate an era where technological transformation and global uncertainty go hand in hand.

– We see a growing need for meeting places where leaders can understand—rather than merely react to—the rapid pace of change. AI, geopolitics and economic transitions demand entirely new approaches to leadership, planning and strategic thinking, says Carl Hagberg, Head of Sales at Consid.

Business as a driver of societal change

VisionHUB is built on a clear idea: connecting macrotrends with human behaviour and practical leadership. The programme is divided into four themes—the global economy, the new consumer, business strategy in transition and the human dimension of technology—each designed to give participants both a comprehensive overview and tangible actionability.

Among this year’s speakers are Anders Borg, Sweden’s Minister for Finance from 2006 to 2014, who will share his insights on global market forces, and Björn af Kleen, journalist and author, who will examine how shifting media landscapes shape public trust and societal debate.

– As the world changes rapidly, we must also change how we lead and collaborate. VisionHUB is intended to become a forum where we bring the big questions of technology, power and people down to the practical level—how companies can actually act, says Linda Ayres, Project Manager at Optimizely.

Business strategy in a new reality

Recent years have shown how swiftly global developments can affect both markets and organisations. For companies, long-term competitiveness is no longer defined by product development or market share alone, but by the ability to interpret the world, adapt and act in real time.

– By bringing together perspectives from the macro to the human level, we want to help companies think more holistically. Understanding the relationship between geopolitical shifts, new technology and individual behaviour is essential for sustainable growth, says Ayres.

VisionHUB is therefore intended to function both as a platform for inspiration and as a strategic meeting place. The organisers hope the event will strengthen Sweden’s innovative capacity and foster new cross-industry collaborations.

Optimizely and Consid have collaborated for nearly twenty years on joint projects within digital transformation and customer experience. VisionHUB is a natural next step—an initiative where technological expertise and business insight meet in a shared vision for the leadership of the future.

– We want to show that business is not only part of the change—we are a driving force behind it. Through VisionHUB, we are creating a platform where insight leads to action, says Carl Hagberg.

The event will take place at Operaterrassen in Stockholm on 4 February 2026, and registration is now open.
