Consid Moves Into the Iconic House in the Heart of Norrköping
The tech company Consid continues its growth journey and is moving into the historic Tesdorpska House at Gamla Torget in Norrköping – previously home to mobile accessory giant iDeal of Sweden, which famously dubbed the premises the “House of iDeal”. The move marks a new chapter in Consid’s expansion in the region – right in the city’s historic heart.

– This is more than just a move – it’s a statement. We’re growing rapidly and want to continue doing so in environments that embody both history and the future. Tesdorpska House offers exactly the character and energy we want to surround ourselves with, says Fredrik Hammar, office manager at Consid Norrköping.
A tech company rooted in the city’s core
With its new address at Gamla Rådstugugatan 33, Consid is taking up residence in one of Norrköping’s most recognisable buildings – a property rich in craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit. The building is owned by Magnentus, a local player known for its strong commitment to the city’s development.
– To move into a property that has previously housed a pub, a restaurant, and one of Sweden’s most renowned tech brands is something truly special. It’s a place where creativity, business drive and history come together – just the way we like it, says Sofia Nilsson, property and interior manager at Consid.
Growth, full-service delivery and confidence in the future
Consid currently employs around 70 of its nearly 2,000 staff in Norrköping, working with clients such as the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, the Swedish Transport Agency, and Returpack. Locally, the company delivers comprehensive solutions within system development, UX, testing, management, and digital marketing, while also expanding its focus on IT security, SAP, and technical consultancy services.
– We see tremendous potential ahead – both regionally and nationally. This move is part of our ongoing expansion, but it’s also a symbol of how we want to grow: in inspiring environments, together with people who are eager to move forward, says Fredrik Hammar.
