Consid opens new office in Kongsberg
Consid continues its growth in Norway and is now establishing a new office in Kongsberg. The office began operations in January and represents an important strategic step in the company’s ambition to be a local partner with a strong presence close to its customers. Henrik Nesset has been recruited to lead the initiative and assumes the role of Area Manager for Consid Kongsberg.
– We are seeing a clear increase in demand from customers in the Kongsberg region, particularly within technologically advanced development. By establishing a local office, we can work even more closely with our customers, gain a deeper understanding of their needs, and deliver high quality over time, says Henrik Nesset.
Clear Technical Focus – Embedded at the Core
Consid aims to build a strong and long-term technical competence hub in Kongsberg, with a target of approximately 40 employees over the coming years. The office will primarily focus on embedded development, while also encompassing additional technology disciplines in line with customer needs.
– Kongsberg has a very strong technology ecosystem and many exciting companies. Our goal is to build a local team of highly skilled specialists who work closely with customers, while also being part of Consid’s national competence network, Nesset adds.

Kongsberg – A Key Driver of Continued Growth
The establishment in Kongsberg is an important part of Consid’s continued expansion in Norway. The ambition for 2026 is to grow by approximately 30 new employees nationally, with Kongsberg playing a central role in this development.
