Kungsbacka municipality selects Consid as partner for BI
Tech consultancy Consid has been awarded a new contract with Kungsbacka Municipality, with an estimated value of SEK 35 million. The assignment involves delivering expertise in business intelligence and data analytics, marking an important step in the municipality’s ambition to become a more data-driven organisation by 2030.

Consid has won a new public procurement with Kungsbacka Municipality, valued at SEK 42 million. The contract covers two main areas: resource consultants providing ongoing support within business intelligence (BI), and project consultants delivering development services in BI and advanced data analytics.
– We are very pleased to have been entrusted with this assignment by Kungsbacka Municipality. The project aligns perfectly with our core expertise in BI and data analytics, and we are fully prepared to step in and deliver from day one. Our focus is on immediately ensuring stable operations and continued development of the analytics platform, while strengthening internal capabilities and delivering tangible results, says Jacob Ahlström, Bid Manager at Consid.
The procurement forms part of the municipality’s long-term strategy to become a more data-driven organisation, with a target year of 2030. As a strategic partner, Consid will contribute to the continued development of Kungsbacka Municipality’s analytics platform and strengthen the organisation’s internal ability to collect, analyse and utilise data effectively.
– Kungsbacka Municipality has ambitious goals to become a more data-driven organisation by 2030, and we are the right partner for that journey. We have extensive experience delivering BI solutions within the public sector, supported by proven methodologies, certified expertise and deep technical competence in Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Data Vault, and tools such as BimlFlex and BimlStudio. With our ability to combine technology, business understanding and efficient support, we are confident that we will meet – and exceed – the municipality’s expectations, says Jacob Ahlström.
Carolina Mohlin, Head of Data, AI and Analysis at Consid, also expresses great enthusiasm for the new collaboration with Kungsbacka Municipality.
– As Kungsbacka Municipality itself points out, data is one of the most valuable assets in a modern organisation. We fully share that view and see data as a key enabler for future-proofing organisations. That is why we are particularly pleased to support the municipality in its strategic ambitions – not least in creating the right conditions for future AI initiatives, where data will be absolutely critical. We look forward to contributing both technically and in terms of expertise to help them streamline processes, identify innovative solutions and make more informed, data-driven decisions.
