Jönköpings-Posten highlights Consids’s founders in the Founder of the Year Award
During the afternoon, on September 20th, the winner of the prestigious “Founder of the Year Award” will be announced at the Founders Awards Gala in Stockholm. Consid’s founders, Peter Hellgren and Henrik Sandell, are among the finalists. Peter Hellgren has been interviewed by Jönköping-Posten ahead of today’s award ceremony.

A panel of respected entrepreneurs will serve as jury members and announce the winners in various categories, including both female and male honorees, with the prize “The Growth Rings.”
Peter Hellgren is delighted to be one of the finalists but he is waiting until Wednesday before taking out any winnings. There are a total of six finalists who have a chance to win the prize.
– This is the first time we have been nominated, so it feels very exciting, says Peter Hellgren.
Consid was founded in 2000, and in a press release, the company is described as the fastest-growing IT consulting firm in Northern Europe. Consid has over 1800 employees and is present in over 40 locations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Germany, and Poland, with an annual revenue exceeding 200 million euros.
Peter Hellgren and Henrik Sandell are both majority owners. They came together to gather leading IT experts with the goal of creating lasting value for global companies.
Peter Hellgren mentions that they wanted to build the company where they themselves would like to work.
– When you look at service-based companies, the balance sheet is made up of the employees. We want to build a workplace that is for the employees, so they feel comfortable and can develop. If they find it enjoyable to go to work every day, they will stay and grow with us over time, he says.
He describes the staff as the company’s value. Their well-being and willingness to develop within the company are seen as something that guarantees the company’s journey and success.
