Consid accelerates in embedded systems and connected devices
Consid’s investment in embedded systems and connected devices has quickly established itself as one of the company’s most expansive areas. In just a few years, the business unit has grown from fewer than 20 people to over 75 consultants, spread across 17 offices in Sweden and Norway. With 30 active clients and revenue growth of 374 percent, Consid has rapidly become a significant player in the field.

– The fact that we’ve grown by over 300 percent in such a short time demonstrates the enormous demand we’re seeing for expertise in embedded systems and IoT. Our clients need smart, sustainable, and reliable solutions – and we’ve succeeded in attracting a fantastic team of specialists who can deliver at that level, says Erica Dahlberg, Head of Embedded Systems and Connected Devices at Consid.
From niche to national force
When Dahlberg took on the responsibility for driving the business area, the mission was clear – to build and scale Consid’s offering within embedded systems. Today, the area is a strategic growth engine with both breadth and depth, covering everything from software development for automotive and industrial applications to advanced IoT solutions.
– We’re seeing explosive development in everything from camera solutions to automotive and medical technology. The fact that we’ve grown from a small team to more than 75 consultants across 17 locations in Sweden and Norway in just a few years is a strong statement – both for our clients and our employees. And we’re only at the beginning of our journey, says Dahlberg.
Strong foothold among clients
Today, Consid works with 30 active clients within embedded systems, including those in the defense industry, automotive sector, energy industry, and manufacturing. The combination of local presence and cutting-edge expertise has proven to be a key success factor.
– We’re proud to have become a strategic partner to so many clients in such a short time. At the same time, we’re far from finished – the need for expertise in embedded systems continues to grow, and we’re determined to stay at the forefront and attract the best talent, says Erica Dahlberg.
