Consid’s Denmark CEO joins influential AI policy board in Danish tech industry
Michael Lund-Andersen, CEO of Consid Denmark, has joined IT-Branchen's Policy Board for NewTech. Alongside representatives from some of Denmark's leading technology companies, he will contribute to shaping the conditions for how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies can create value for Danish businesses and organisations.
IT-Branchen is Denmark’s industry association for IT and technology companies, serving as a collective voice in discussions with policymakers, government authorities and the business community. Its Policy Board for NewTech brings together around 50 representatives from across the technology sector to discuss and influence developments in areas such as artificial intelligence, digital sovereignty and emerging technologies.
A key focus of the board is how businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, can move beyond technological innovation to practical implementation and tangible business value. Its work also covers regulatory developments, including the EU AI Act and its implementation in Denmark.
For Michael Lund-Andersen, joining the board represents an opportunity to contribute perspectives on how AI is transforming not only businesses but also the people and organisations behind the technology.
– There is no shortage of innovation. The real challenge lies in putting technology into practice and creating value at scale. I hope to contribute perspectives on how AI is transforming people, skills and organisations, not just productivity, says Michael Lund-Andersen, CEO of Consid Denmark.
Michael has long been engaged in discussions about how AI is reshaping working life, education and professional development. Among other topics, he has highlighted the need for organisations to rethink how expertise is developed and how people learn as AI increasingly takes over tasks that have traditionally provided the foundation for building experience.
The appointment aligns with Consid’s growing commitment to AI and the company’s ambition to help organisations turn emerging technologies into tangible results. Through its strategic partnership with AI company Anthropic, Consid is also strengthening its efforts to make advanced AI more accessible and valuable to businesses and organisations.
– For AI to drive meaningful change, access to powerful technology alone is not enough. We also need to understand how it affects the way we work, which skills will become essential in the future, and how organisations can evolve alongside technological developments. These are questions I look forward to contributing to through the board’s work, says Michael Lund-Andersen.
With its representation on the Policy Board for NewTech, Consid gains another opportunity to participate in the dialogue on the future of digital transformation and contribute to the development of a competitive and sustainable Danish business sector.
