Consid supports children’s safety with new Christmas fundraiser
Tech consultancy Consid is deepening its partnership with Save the Children and launching a comprehensive Christmas fundraiser in support of the organisation’s work to promote children’s safety in both the digital and physical worlds. As part of the initiative, Consid employees were given the option to donate their company Christmas gift to Save the Children — a gesture that has already generated SEK 125,000 ahead of December.Consid is now opening the fundraiser to the public, encouraging employees, clients, partners and external donors alike to contribute. This year, the Akelius Foundation is matching every donation made to Save the Children. This means that all contributions to Consid’s fundraiser have double the impact and reach even more children in need of support.

Every donation provides access to a digital gift certificate, available for download or via SMS — a Christmas gift that is not only appreciated but also makes a tangible difference for children in need of safety and protection.
– Christmas is about care and doing something meaningful for others. Through our fundraiser, we want to make it easy to give a Christmas gift that genuinely matters — both to the giver and to children who need support and security. The strong engagement shown by our employees already is truly heartwarming, and we hope even more people will join us. Together, we can help create a safer digital and physical environment for children, says Beatrice Carpvik, Head of Branding, Marketing & Communication at Consid.
A Partnership for Children’s Safety
Since 2025, Consid has been a partner to Save the Children. Through this collaboration, the organisations work together to strengthen children’s safety in an increasingly digitalised world.
Save the Children runs several initiatives that support children and adults in digital environments, including:
- “Safe Online!” – a programme for upper primary school that encourages dialogue about life online.
- Lilla RB – a secure digital platform for children aged 9–12.
- The Digital Youth Worker – a “digital night-time guardian” present in gaming environments to detect signs of bullying, abuse or mental health concerns.
For adults, Save the Children also offers guidance on how to talk to children about digital risks such as online harassment, threats, exploitation and screen time. Through their partnership, Consid and Save the Children combine technological innovation with social responsibility to create safer environments for children – both online and offline.
