Consid Reports Record Sales in June: “Numerous New Business Opportunities”
IT company Consid can now report a new sales record with just days remaining in June. For the first time in the company's 24-year history, sales in Sweden have exceeded SEK 200 million.
– This is fantastic news; we are surpassing our previous record of SEK 188 million—and we are doing so almost entirely with new business areas. We see the market starting to turn upwards again after a significant downturn, generating many new business opportunities that we have capitalized on, says Carl Hagberg, Head of Sales at Consid.
Notably, new business with the public sector and companies in the finance and construction industries has been the key to Consid’s success. Sales in June reached SEK 260 million, entirely from new deals. The previous record from November 2023 of SEK 188 million was significantly exceeded. This result represents a doubling compared to the corresponding figure from last year.
– We are very pleased, and rightly so. It is important to highlight that it is a quarter of a billion solely from new business. For me, this demonstrates how the market is beginning to recover. Last year, we sold for SEK 124 million and have doubled that figure this year, Hagberg continues.
A significant portion of the sales value came from the West Region, where Consid secured several key contracts with one of the region’s largest organizations. The results in June mean that Consid strengthens its market position while replacing several competitors in key assignments, according to Carl Hagberg.
– Many new markets and market segments have opened up during the spring, now bearing fruit. This is the result of long-term, diligent work—it’s no coincidence, Hagberg concludes.
