Consid invests in IT security – 500 percent increase in clients
As cyberattacks on critical societal functions have become increasingly common, interest in IT security has surged. In Consid’s Region East, the number of clients in this area has grown by 500 per cent, and the tech company is now taking the next step in its investment.
The strong growth within the security field reflects the increasing need for cybersecurity in society. Consid has now decided to further expand its focus in the region.
– The goal of IT security is to protect society in both small and large contexts – from individuals to critical infrastructure. It is just as much about technical solutions as it is about training and raising awareness, says Johan Kederstedt, Head of Security Offering at Consid.
In recent years, interest in security has increased significantly, not least as a result of incidents affecting organisations, companies and public authorities, which have exposed the vulnerability of our digitalised society. Cyberattacks targeting both private and public actors mean that the need for reliable partners and experts has never been greater.
– As a major supplier that both develops and manages systems, we see it as our duty to provide expertise in IT security. Our customers should feel confident that we not only deliver modern solutions but secure ones too, says Andreas Claesson, Regional Manager at Consid.
To meet the growing demand for cybersecurity, Consid offers a range of packaged services and solutions, including crisis simulations, penetration tests and CISO as a service. The tech company also provides a variety of training programmes and expertise in regulations such as DORA and NIS2. Competence is also offered within secure IT architecture as well as audits ranging from website reviews to large-scale organisational assessments.
Internally, Consid is also carrying out extensive work to strengthen its competence. Developers are continuously trained in secure coding to meet the increasing demands of the market. By combining technical expertise with knowledge-sharing across the organisation, Consid reinforces its role as a long-term partner in security matters.
