Consid in Eskilstuna nominated for Sweden’s Most Beautiful Office

– I’m incredibly happy and proud that Consid in Eskilstuna has been nominated for Sweden’s Most Beautiful Office! The office is designed to be both functional as a workplace and a space that encourages social activities, both internally and externally. The beautiful details and the preservation of historical features create a wonderful atmosphere, says Mathias Possnert, Office Manager in Eskilstuna.

Since early 2025, Consid has been based in the well-known building on Kungsgatan 33 – a property that previously housed both a tailor and a clothing shop. When Consid took over, an extensive renovation was carried out, combining function and form while preserving historical details such as the original staircase, leaded glass windows and a lockable vault.

– Re-use is a natural part of how we design and furnish our offices, and this location is no exception. In our beautiful Eskilstuna office, we’ve used curtains and furniture previously featured in our offices in Gothenburg, Malmö and Örebro, weaving them together with new elements. By creating a classic environment, we also create a sustainable one – a space that doesn’t feel dated but can evolve as we continue to grow, says Sofia Nilsson, Facility Manager at Consid.

Today, the office covers 430 square metres, of which around 200 make up a generous reception and event area on the ground floor. The large glass panels facing the street offer passers-by a glimpse into the company’s activities, acting as a showcase for Consid’s operations.

– I believe I speak for all our colleagues in Eskilstuna when I say that we feel a sense of pride every day when coming to work, says Mathias Possnert.

Voting for Sweden’s Most Beautiful Office is open until 31 October. The winner will be announced during the Great Office Day 2025 at Berns in Stockholm on 11 November.
