Nationwide Easter Egg Hunt for a Safer Digital Environment
A nationwide Easter hunt combining technology, physical activity and social engagement will take place during Easter week. Participants compete via QR codes and a leaderboard – while every scan generates a donation to Save the Children’s work towards a safer digital everyday environment for children and young people.

On 1 April, 24 locations across Sweden will transform into an interactive game board as Consid once again hosts the Consid Easter Egg Hunt – Sweden’s largest digital Easter egg hunt. New for this year are physical Golden Eggs, hidden across the country, containing prizes with a total value of SEK 10,000.
– Consid Easter Egg Hunt is our way of combining movement, technology and social engagement. We want to create something that engages people across the country while contributing to a safer digital everyday life for children and young people, says Beatrice Carpvik, Head of Branding, Marketing and Communication at Consid.
A Digital Treasure Hunt – Around the Clock
The competition runs 24/7 throughout Easter week, between 1 April and 6 April. Through a web app, participants receive clues leading to QR codes placed at various locations across 24 towns and cities around Sweden – from north to south. Each QR code earns points and participants climb a national leaderboard. The more codes scanned, the greater their chances of winning. But this year, the hunt does not stop at the digital level.
New: Golden Eggs in Every City
As a new feature for this year’s hunt, Consid has placed five physical Golden Eggs in each participating location. The eggs are hidden in secret places and contain exclusive prizes. Whoever finds an egg wins it and its contents.
– We wanted to take the hunt to the next level and create even more excitement. The Golden Eggs make the competition more pulse-raising and encourage people to get out and explore their cities, says Beatrice Carpvik.
Prize Pot of SEK 10,000
The total prize pot amounts to SEK 10,000 and is distributed nationally:
- 1st prize: Gift card worth SEK 5,000
- 2nd prize: Gift card worth SEK 2,500
- 3rd–5th prize: Gift card worth SEK 500
- Golden Egg prizes: Gift cards worth SEK 1,000 plus a leaderboard boost
Every Scan Makes a Difference
For every QR code scanned during the hunt, Consid donates SEK 1 to Save the Children’s initiative for a safer and more inclusive gaming world.
– Gaming is a natural part of many children’s and young people’s lives. As a tech company, we recognise that we have a responsibility to help ensure that this environment is safe and positive. Through our Easter Egg Hunt in support of Save the Children, we can combine engagement and social impact in a playful way, says Beatrice Carpvik.
