Consid and Returpack partner on digital deposit refunds
Consid has signed a new framework agreement with Returpack. The partnership means that the tech company will be responsible for both maintaining existing systems and developing an entirely new solution for digital deposit refunds – a step aimed at meeting future technological demands and contributing to a more sustainable society.
The framework agreement, signed in December 2024, marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration. For Returpack, the initiative is an important part of its mission to continue developing the world’s leading deposit return system, while Consid has the opportunity to contribute with its expertise in digitalisation, system development and modern technology.
Today, a dedicated team of four from Consid is working with Returpack. The team consists of an architect, two developers, and Technical Project Manager, Therese Samuelsson.

The new solution is intended not only to simplify the handling of deposit refunds, but also to create a stable digital foundation for continued innovation and higher recycling rates.
