Considition 2023 in collaboration with Coca-Cola Sweden

In the 2023 edition, Consid partnered with Coca-Cola Sweden. Participants were tasked with developing an algorithm using AI and machine learning to contribute to a more sustainable future for beverage consumption, with a focus on refill solutions.

Reducing environmental impact through refill solutions 

In the 2023 challenge, participants were tasked with developing an algorithm that optimised the placement of refill solutions across different geographical locations, based on real-world data. The challenge was developed from Coca-Cola’s ongoing initiative at the time to reduce environmental impact by introducing refill solutions in locations such as convenience stores and petrol stations. By changing consumption patterns, the amount of packaging – and therefore its carbon footprint – could be reduced.
